About us

DraftLaw Research

A nonprofit international initiative dedicated to building the next generation of legal scholars and giving legal voices a place to be heard.

DraftLaw Research connects aspiring legal scholars, experienced researchers, and contributors from around the world to make legal scholarship more accessible, collaborative, and inclusive. Through research mentorship and open academic publishing, we help emerging voices develop their ideas, strengthen their skills, and contribute to legal debates.

Our mission

To make serious legal scholarship accessible to anyone with the curiosity and drive to pursue it, regardless of where they study, what field they come from, or who they know.

Who we work with

From Asia and Africa to Europe and beyond, we welcome students, mentors, researchers, and contributors from every jurisdiction and academic background. Although based in Sweden, DraftLaw Research works across borders to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and broaden participation in legal scholarship.

Our belief

Academic potential is everywhere, but access to mentorship and publishing opportunities is not. We are building a community where curiosity is encouraged, knowledge is shared, and promising ideas can grow into meaningful scholarship. Whether you are a student taking your first steps into research, an experienced scholar ready to mentor, or a contributor with an idea worth sharing, there is a place for you at DraftLaw Research.
